In-Home Water Testing in Lafayette, LA

Tested at your kitchen sink. Results in about 10 minutes.

Every job starts with a test. It shows what your water is doing, so any equipment is chosen for that water, not guessed.

Free and no obligation. For Acadiana-area homeowners, one per household.

The visit

What the visit looks like

  1. We come to you

The test happens in your home, at the kitchen sink.

  2. You watch

The test runs while you watch, so you see the same readings we do.

  3. Results in about 10 minutes

All four readings are ready in about 10 minutes.

What it checks

Four readings

The test covers hardness, chlorine, iron and pH. The readings help show whether a softener, a filter, iron treatment or nothing at all fits your water.

  • HardnessThe minerals behind scale on fixtures, spots on glass and soap that will not lather.
  • ChlorineA common cause of taste and smell in tap water.
  • IronA common cause of orange and rust staining on fixtures and laundry.
  • pHHow acidic or basic the water is.

After the test

What happens next

If the water calls for equipment, we size it to the result and to your household's flow rate. Licensed plumbers install it with a bypass valve, and we service it afterward with filter and media changes.

If your water tests fine, we will tell you so.

The test is for homes in all twelve towns of the service area, on city water or a private well.
